Transformation Breathwork

‘The Subtle Realms can be perceived and realized only if consciousness is radically altered and transmuted from the ordinary (lead-like) level of everyday perceptions to a subtle (gold-like) level of perception.'

– Stanislas Klossowski de Rola, from his book Alchemy

As we enter into this time of Endings and Beginnings, come join in a meaningful, exuberant and joyful experience that has the power to open us into satisfying that desire the Soul often feels so pressingly in our modern world while this same world offers all too few spaces for its expression. That is, the desire for ‘Divine Madness’.

To access states of awareness that facilitate embodied transformation, we have to bypass the rational, controlling mind. Divine Madness are ecstatic, non-rational states of profound inspiration, insights into higher truth, creativity and Mystical Union. And accessing such states without the use of 'external' stimulants, means integration of the experience occurs more readily.

For this desire of the soul to be satiated, the experience has to be contained in Ritual Sacred Space, as all civilisations before ours knew in their heart-of-hearts. The past century, roughly, marks the first time in human history that this knowledge has largely disappeared. Such experiences were once understood to be required, particularly at this time where ‘the gunk’ of the old year had to be left behind, for us to be psychologically free to enter the new year whole-heartedly. Without carrying the weight of the old year over into the new year.

Based on ground-breaking work of Psychiatrist Stansilav Grof, particularly on his method of Holotropic Breathwork, Transformation Breathwork involves accelerated breathing, evocative music and bodywork to release psychological blockages, including trauma-related blockages rooted in the body, and to facilitate an opening into the the subtle realms. Sometimes this release is so powerful that such blockages are dissolved once and for all.
